VEGA driver award 2014
Motivated workers are the heart and soul of our company. They enable us to consistently perform beyond expectations, and to stay true to our motto, „Excellence is our driver“. Social programs, continuing education, and recreational activities allow us and our drivers to work on continuous improvement initiatives. These ensure that we will continue to offer our customer incomparable service.
On April 30, 2015, Vega honored its top drivers for 2014. In order to ensure fair distribution of awards we have once again established categories to cover all areas of the business and to give every one of our drivers the chance to receive an award.
- Excellent Driver Champion – the best of the best, a combination of all factors led to this award.
- Miles Champion Truck – the most kilometers driven by commercial vehicle
- Miles Champion Trailer – the most trips per year
- Cargo Champion – the best in the area of Container and Cargo Trucking
- Trailer Champion – Best Performer during the transition of new Trailers
An extra treat offered this year were three special awards, which could be won not only by our drivers, but also by the office staff:
- Special Award Innovation – Recognition for the most innovative ideas, and suggestions for improvements and savings of all kinds.
- Special Award Teamwork – Open and pleasant behavior, willingness to help others, and teamwork are recognized with this award.
- Special Award Smile – The friendliest VEGA employee, whether in the office or on the streets of Europe, will be selected for the Smile Award.
This major event, ending with an awards ceremony, took place in the beautiful surroundings of Castle Klessheim in Salzburg.
We would like to thank all of our drivers for their outstanding achievements and are already looking forward to next year when we will be honoring our 2015 Champions.
