VEGA Sets a Milestone in E-Mobility

At VEGA, we consistently invest in sustainable and future-oriented logistics. A significant step in this direction is the establishment of our own charging infrastructure for our growing fleet of electric vehicles. In close cooperation with Salzburg Netz GmbH, a subsidiary of Salzburg AG, we are currently constructing a powerful charging facility at our headquarters in Wals-Siezenheim.
The new charging infrastructure includes a total of six high-performance charging stations, specifically designed to meet the needs of our truck fleet:
- Five hypercharger, each with 300 kW of power
- One hypercharger with a charging capacity of 400 kW
These charging points enable our electric trucks to be supplied with energy particularly quickly and efficiently – a crucial advantage for ongoing logistics operations.
We already have six electric trucks in daily reliable operation. Additional vehicles are already in the planning stage and will be gradually integrated into our fleet.
The development of the charging infrastructure is a key component of our sustainability strategy.
Our goal is clear: We aim to electrify our fleet step by step and actively contribute to climate protection – without compromising on quality or efficiency.
The technical implementation and integration of the charging infrastructure is being carried out by Salzburg Netz GmbH. This partnership ensures that our energy system is future-proof, powerful, and sustainable.
With this investment, we are strengthening not only our ecological responsibility but also our innovative strength as a modern logistics company.
