Providing help where it is needed most

Recently, our colleague Robert Maurer travelled to Ukraine with our Czech colleague Mihal Hryvnak and his son Adam. Their mission was to provide concrete aid and maintain direct contacts with local communities.

In Kharkiv, they delivered an ambulance along with urgently needed supplies including Starlink systems, a generator, wheelchairs, walking aids, mattresses and strollers to the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine. The gratitude they received showed clearly how vital every contribution is.

On their way to Sloviansk, they passed through areas that had previously been occupied, where entire villages had been wiped out. In Sloviansk, they visited an underground operations centre used to coordinate surveillance drones in the region.

These experiences once again demonstrated the necessity and impact of our support.
